fly high!

feeling a bit nostalgic this week. witnessed the commencement exercises of both grade and high schools of my former Alma Mater, Diliman Preparatory School (it is in not affiliated with UP and is not just a kinder school. haha). attended the elementary grad of my younger sister as her official photographer - who got told off by my former teachers because of a trivial thing like going in front of the stage to get a photo of his mom and my sister. attended the high school grad to congratulate my friends + former schoolmates. in both instances, i was with high school classmates and friends + i felt like i wanted to experience graduating all over again + i got irked at the opportunist individual hogging the mike and stealing the graduates' moment.

welcome to the real world, batch 2007!

the heat is on.

according to a feature in the lifestyle section of a well-known and oftentimes left-leaning broadsheet (don't get me wrong - i love reading it.), everyone has their 'Bora' story to tell. well, i have a different story to tell.

i love summer. who doesn't? more pounds to gain from being a house bum. more time to go to the mall and just gaze at the displays. more liquids to lose from the wretched heat.

for the past few years; i spent my summer here in the city, doing school-related stuff when school's already out. or splurging on frequent trips to the nearest air-conditioned entertainment/lifestyle stop (okay, so it's a mall.). the last out-of-town trip i could remember was a trip to Tagaytay; when I was still 11 (ah, so young and innocent.), courtesy of my mom's office.

oh well, this summer's no different. i'm taking up advanced units so i could catch up with the curriculum. plus working on the yearbook (lost the address, yet again.).

enjoy your summer break guys. =p

pre-summer blues.

soc sci 2 exam done. nosebleed, thanks to Karl Marx and his materialistic views. now, only 3 requirements separate me and an early summer break. but i have to pay the price by taking a summer class that will alter the path i am taking.

hope i could meet the demands called for by shouldering additional responsibility. by that, i mean being an officer of an organization for next school year. =p

still don't know what function to attend. time could have separated the two so i could have the best of both. but no.

reality check: it IS hard to always be the listener in conversations.

laban ka? =p

got this pic from kea a few moments ago. brings back the thrill of playing paintball for the first time (not to mention the pain of being hit by a pellet) and reminded me of other fun moments from our 1st block bonding.

i love k6.

PART TWO OF GEOG FIELD TRIP SOON. HAHA.
